The Vocational Training Centre was started in 1997. This centre was established to train the women of neighborhood slum areas in various vocational skills. The objective for the centre is to help the trainees to earn and become economically independent. The centre has three competent trainers. The main objective is to enable these women to utilize the acquired skills to start earning. Many of them get employment in tailoring and boutique shops or become self employed. Following skill training are imparted

• Hand Embroidery
• Crochet work
• Tailoring
• Bag Making

The trained women get remuneration for the finished product and this becomes their regular source of income.
